Episode 216 - “Time and Aging”
by Jerry Hyppolite
Holding on to a moment.
I'm a Brooklyn, NY raised poet and actor. An organic creative who fell in love with words and power they enable. Being Afro-Carribeanz, having lived in Canada and growing up in a one bedroom apartment with three siblings in Flatbush leaves room for a lot of stories and creativity to say the least. It also introduced me to poetry, culture and powerful relationships. Applied with faith, those became me key ingredients in expressing the metaphors of my truths through my poetry and acting.

A Statement from Jerry:
"This piece was written back in 2013 during a cancer scare. I was reflecting on relationships and opportunities that I didn't give it's rightful time. When you lose say in your health and time it'll do that to you. I realized in that space, the richest thing in the world is not money but relationships. That all that a person does is to enhance and create great relationships in your life. The relationship you have with yourself and those around you. That when you do that. Not only do you make other lives better but yours in return.
Honor your truth and gifts with the same energy you allow your fears and the universe with conspire for you."
