A statement from Taylor:
"I wrote this piece in college, where I felt unprepared and overwhelmed, but because I had such a strong support structure and was surrounded by many of my closest friends I knew it would be okay. I can obsess about the future, but this was a sort of note to myself, to remind me that there’s nothing wrong with taking a little time to relax, breathe and enjoy the moment you’re in.
We need to unite together as a species. We are all people, and too many of us are facing disgusting abuse in a world filled with unjust corruption. Let’s work together to change that. Black lives matter."
